Caliper rattle

Post by junkyardjeff » May 31st, 2019, 9:58 pm

My calipers are rattling and is there a bushing that is supposed to be on the outboard pads where the bolt goes through, mine seem very loose or are the bolts prone to wear.

replacing the rubber bushings with stainless steel bushings makes a huge improvement in braking performance. I used these on my fox body Mustang as well as both of my Box body crown vic (same caliper design)
